Terms & Conditions of Booking

The following information and conditions serve as your binding contract with Freedom Tours and Travel upon reservation. Please read all the information in this section and the information on the individual tours.

Deposit: Motorcoach tours require a $100.00 Non-refundable Deposit when the reservation is made. Please refer to cruise and air tours for their individual deposit requirements. All prices are shown in Canadian dollars and can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Interac, Cheque or Cash. Verbal authorization of the use of your credit card commits you to your reservation whether or not you have signed a credit card receipt.

Deposit: Individual and group tours require a Deposit when the reservation is made.

Cancellation: Unforeseen things happen, in the event you have to cancel, regardless of the reason, cancellation and transfers are very costly and usually do not occur in time for resale. To offset these costs, the following fees will apply. In order to be fair to all, no exceptions can be made.
-Prior to final payment being made, full refund of deposit less $25.00 administration fee
-After final payment: 100% of the tour price will apply.
Cruise and Air tours have their own individual cancellation policies.

Travel Insurance: To offset losses due to cancellation, Freedom Tours and Travel recommends that clients purchase travel insurance when making travel arrangements. Freedom Tours and Travel will require a signed insurance waiver by any clients choosing not to purchase insurance. We will not be responsible for any loss to those not purchasing trip cancellation insurance.

Smoking:
Smoking is not permitted on Freedom Tours and Travel motorcoach

Gratuities:
Gratuities for tour directors, tour drivers, or local guides are not included.

Baggage:
Baggage is limited to one checked bag per person on motorcoach tours.

While on the Motorcoach:
There are NO reserved seats on motorcoaches. To ensure that passengers share vantage points. Seats are rotated at the direction of the tour director.
Please be aware that each motorcoach is equipped with a washroom on board. Each tour itinerary ensures a break stop on average every two hours. We ask that the washroom on board be reserved for emergency use only. Please be aware that the washroom is not equipped with running water.
Each passenger is entitled to one carry on bag that they may keep with him or her aboard the coach. Depending on the equipment used, there may or may not be pockets on the back of the seats for storage.

Identification.
US Customs regulations now require all coaches travelling into the States to provide a list of all passengers, dates of birth and citizenship before arrival. We ask your assistance in providing this information at time of booking.
Each passenger will be required to have either a passport or government issued photo identification AND birth certificate to enter the United States. For International tours, please ask about requirements. For anyone travelling with a passport other than Canadian. Please be aware of custom requirements for your country.

Single Travellers:
Passengers with no travelling companion, but wishing to share accommodation may book on a willing to share basis. Freedom Tours and Travel will attempt to find a suitable partner and allow the interested parties to see if they are a suitable match. Freedom Tours and Travel will not automatically match passengers together. If a travelling companion can’t be found, a single surcharge will apply

Travellers who require Special Assistance:
Any Disability requiring special attention should be reported to Freedom Tours and Travel at the time reservation is made. We will make reasonable attempts to accommodate the special needs of those passengers, but are not responsible if we are unable to do so

Privacy:
While on tour, Freedom Tours and Travel will make available a passenger list of your fellow travellers. If you do not wish to have your name published, we must be notified before the start of the tour.

Responsibility:
Freedom Tours and Travel acts as an agent for the passenger in all matters connected with hotel and dining services, sightseeing tours and other suppliers of services and transportation whether by rail, air, motorcoach, boat of by any other means. As agent, Freedom Tours and travel holds itself free of responsibility for any damage, injury or loss resulting from any damage, expenses or inconvenience caused by delays or cancellation transportation services, changes of schedule, strikes, or other conditions beyond Freedom Tours and travel control. Freedom Tours does not own or operate any of suppliers of services. Freedom Tours and Travel does not own or operate any of suppliers of services. Freedom Tours and Travel is not responsible for cancellation penalties imposed by airlines or other transportation carriers.
