Prince Edward Island:
The city of Charlottetown, capital of Prince Edward Island, has a fascinating history. This is where small group of elected officials gathered back in 1864 to discuss uniting three Maritime jurisdictions, which ultimately led to the founding of Canada. A walk through downtown is like stepping back in time. Or venture out onto the many scenic heritage red-clay roads and visit the many museums and historical sites. There are lots of fun things to do in Charlottetown. Go for a romantic stroll along our seaside boardwalk and enjoy the breathtaking sunset from Victoria Park. For those who want to be more active, jog along the boardwalk or take part in the Hearts in Motion health walk. You can visit Confederation Landing Park which is also situated on Charlottetown's waterfront. Whatever you do, you are sure to have a good time.
