Day 1 NB - Tewksbury , Massachusetts
Today we depart for the state of Massachusetts to begin our journey to the Amish Country. We spend our first evening in Tewksbury where we are a short distance to the Rockingham Mall in New Hampshire – no sales tax! You have a choice to either shop or take the time to relax at the hotel. Enjoy dinner (on own) at the Crackerbarrel Restaurant. See you in the morning.
Day 2 Tewksbury – Lancaster, PA
After a great breakfast we travel to Lancaster County, the home of the Amish and Mennonite communities and our home for the next three nights. On the way travel through the scenic countryside of the States of Massachusetts and New York before settling into our hotel in the center of Lancaster. Enjoy dinner this evening at the Hershey Farm Restaurant, it is an all-you-can-eat family-style feast (CB, D)
Day 3 Lancaster, PA

After a substantial breakfast we meet your fascinating guide for a guided tour of the Lancaster’s City Life. She will entertain you with stories of the city’s somewhat shady past during the time of Prohibition – you’ll also see some beautiful murals and popular attractions along the way. Spend the afternoon in Downtown Lancaster and get ready for another scrumptious dinner at the Bird-In-Hand Family Restaurant; another all-you-can-eat buffet-style meal. (CB, D)

Day 4 Lancaster

This morning enjoy a Self-guided tour of the National Christmas Center. This one-of-a-kind Christmas “museum” is a definite must-see attraction in Lancaster – it’s been featured on the Travel Channel and in Martha Stewart Living – and you won’t believe the unique quilts on display in the lobby! Our local guide will begin a tour of Lancaster Country Life Tour. We are off the beaten path, to places you probably wouldn’t find on your own – you’ll be educated about the local Amish people, have the opportunity to ask questions, AND visit a quilt & craft shop on an Amish farm and an Amish bakery. This afternoon enjoy lunch (on-own) and a visit to the Kitchen Kettle Village. Lots of unique shops to explore in the quaint little “village,” including their famous canning kitchen (with lots of free samples – and several dining options to choose from. Next we tour an Amish Farm & House. Walk through an original 1805 farmhouse, furnished as an Old Order Amish home of today, then spend some time exploring the grounds where you’ll find a variety of farm animals, a quilting barn, a water wheel, a windmill, and an Amish one-room schoolhouse. Enjoy FREE time at the hotel before we enjoy dinner (on own) and then time for shopping at the Rockvale Outlet Center. More than 100 factory-direct brand-name stores to explore, plus a variety of dining options to choose from. (CB)

Day 5 Tewksbury, MA
After breakfast we travel back to Tewksbury, our home for the night. Lots of time to share stories and memories. Tonight enjoy dinner with your travelling companions at the Homestyle restaurant close to our hotel. (CB)

Day 6 Home
After another great breakfast we depart for home. Comfort stops will be made along the way.
