Saint John Highlights Tour

Historic St Andrews, at one time the summer resort for the rich and famous, is a delightful 6-hour tour. Museums, galleries, the country goal, time to shop and historic homes are just a few of the things we see & do on this tour. A visit to famous Algonquin Hotel, built in the 1800's is sure to be a highlight.
Enjoy some free time along Water Street to shop in the many unique antique gift shops and art galleries.

Fundy Coast to Fundy Shore
St Martins is just the quaintest of fishing villages. A wonderful experience awaits you to visit the twinned covered bridges, lighthouses and even walk on the ocean floor – at low tide of course. It is a photographer's delight. There will also be an opportunity to have a mug up of world famous clam chowder.

Run through Nature
Tired of running around in circles? Looking to shake off your sea legs?
We will make the short drive to the Irving Nature Park and here your fitness guide will lead you through a well-marked 6.5 trail that you can walk or run at your own pace. Stay with the guide for a moderate pace run (we suggest you can run comfortably at a 10 min mile pace). There is a lot to explore in the Park lined with well marked trails. Perfect for anyone looking for an active exploration of ecosystems of historic Saint John

A walking tour with a difference. As you stroll the historic streets of Canada's oldest incorporated city your local guide will delight you with humorous tales of citizens past and present. Back Roads By the Bay Tour
This six-hour tour will take you to some of the smaller rural communities surrounding Saint John. Discover country villages such as Kingston, with its historic church. We will see the heart of farm country and learn about one of the main stays of the New Brunswick economy. See spectacular scenery as we travel along the St John and Kennebecasis River. Stop at a country store for unique handcrafts and snacks. Keep a watch for , covered bridges as there will be several enroute.

Make the short drive to New Brunswick's Capital City. It is a city filled with elegant Victorian architecture. Enjoy a guided walk through the Historic Garrison District. Maritime Salmon Cruise in St Andrews
Enjoy beautiful scenery, spot marine wildlife, and learn about New Brunswick’s salmon farming industry in this unique and fun educational tour of Aquaculture in the Bay of Fundy.
Our tour will depart the Wharf in St. Andrews and travel across beautiful Passamaquoddy Bay to a floating salmon farm owned and operated by Aqua Fish Farms. Our guide will describe the process of growing Atlantic salmon, from egg to plate, highlighting key elements, such as environmental stewardship, attention to fish welfare and the health benefits of consuming Atlantic salmon. Throughout the 2 hour tour, passengers will have the opportunity to enjoy the scenic marine environment, catching glimpses of sea birds and marine mammals which may include seals, cormorants, porpoises and bald eagles. Amongst the spectacular scenery you will see the Deer Island ferry, yachts and lighthouses.

Voyageur Riverboat Cruise
Step on board a true Mississippi River boat for our 3 hour cruise on the Saint John river. We will start our tour with a brief stop at the Reversing River Falls, the point where the sea meets the start of the river and creates the world famous phenomena known as the Reversing Falls, where the Bay of Fundy causes the Saint John River to reverse direction and flow upstream. After a short photo stop we will proceed onto the M.V. Voyageur II for our River Cruise. Just minutes from Uptown Saint John you will be able to see cable ferries connecting local communities, one of New Brunswick's famous Covered Bridges, historical lighthouses, river wildlife and a Bald Eagles Nest as well as many other exciting sights and sounds of river life all with commentary from an expert guide.
The M.V. Voyageur II is a 65ft, double-decker riverboat built in 1960 in Louisiana for cruises along the Mississippi River. Tour duration - 4 hours.

Bay of Fundy Trail Tour
Join us on the ultimate Bay of Fundy experience in the Fundy Trail Parkway only a 1 hour drive from Saint John featuring scenic lookouts, footpaths, beaches and a suspension footbridge. We will visit the Big Salmon River Interpretive Centre to see a historical re-creation of the area's logging, fishing and shipbuilding days with interpretive displays and historic artifacts. The Bay of Fundy boasts the highest tides in the world and spectacular panoramic vistas of unspoiled natural beauty.
We will drive on the paved auto parkway hugging the coastal cliffs connecting paths and stairways down to pristine beaches with tumbling waterfalls. All this sea air and spectacular scenery is sure to give you a healthy appetite so we will stop in St Martin's for a bowl of famous Seafood Chowder. Tour Duration - 5 hours 30 mins Tour is available with no lunch or with lunch which will comprise a Cup of World Famous Seafood Chowder, Tea Biscuit, Cookie, Coffee, Tea or Bottled Water. All members of your party must either have lunch or not, we cannot make lunch arrangements for individuals.
Hopewell Rocks
Join us for a full day drive to Hopewell Rocks and the Fundy National Park. Experience these Flowerpot Rock created by the clash of continents, carved by melting glaciers, then sculpted by the highest tides in the world. Learn how twice daily one hundred billion tons of water creates tides that can rise up to 50 feet.
Please note we can not guarantee the ability to walk on the ocean floor. That is based on Tidal experiences

We require a Credit Card as a guarantee for your reservation at the time of booking. Full payment will be taken the day before your excursion or you can pay in cash directly to your guide prior to the departure of your tour. If you pay on arrival in Saint John please allocate 1 person to make the full payment to our guide. Guides will not have change with them.
• All prices quoted are in Canadian Dollars.
• All timings we provide are on local time, ie, Atlantic Standard Time. Most cruise lines change their clocks to local timings. Carnival are the exception to this who stay on EST +1.
• Cancellations can be made without charge up to the ship sailing date. Once the ship sails a cancellation fee of 50% will be charged to your card.
• If any person cancels from your party and you fail to notify us we will make a 50% cancellation charge for each person canceling from your original reservation.
• At the time of booking you will be given a time of departure for your tour.
• Failure to join your tour 30 minutes after the time of departure will result in the entire charge being processed to your card.
•Your Freedom Travel guide will meet your party at the bottom of the gangplank. They will be holding a Freedom Travel Sign.
• Call us toll free on 800 561 2324 if you believe you will be delayed or have any questions.
• If your ship does not make port in time and there is not sufficient time to operate your excursion we will offer a full refund.
• If your ship does not arrive in Saint John at all we will offer a full refund.
• If any member of your group has special needs or requests you must advise us at the time of booking as we can not make arrangements after this time.
•All tours are operated at a gentle pace but some walking will be required on each tour as well as the ability to climb in and out of buses and some stairs
• If any children are traveling at age 5 or under you must make us aware at the time of booking as a Car seat may need to be booked at an additional cost.
• We cannot guarantee that your group will be exclusively private due to the limited number of smaller vehicles in the city. It may be necessary to amalgamate small groups into one larger group. We will do our best to notify you before you arrive. We will not change your itinerary.
