Fundy Coast to Fundy Shore:
Visit this picturesque fishing village where you’ll step back in time and sense the serenity of this picturesque area with its wharf, fishing boats and piled lobster traps. This is a photographer’s delight with a lighthouse and twin covered bridges with the ocean for a backdrop. Don’t forget to visit the wave-carved sea caves in the sandstone cliff if the tide is low enough to allow access while you’re there. Learn how this small community was famous for its wooden ship building industry and see some of the highest tides in the world ebb and flow during your visit. You’ll have an added bonus on this tour of also visiting the world famous Reversing Falls Rapids where the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy force the mighty Saint John River to flow reverse twice every day. One more treat is in store for you before returning to your cruise ship. Stop and explore the unique old City market in the heart of Saint John and learn why the local folks have loved to buy fresh produce here since 1876.
Please note: Considerable walking is involved on this tour but the beach walk to visit the sea caves is optional. The caves can only be visited at low tide which is not guaranteed for every ship’s arrival into Saint John

St Andrews by the Sea:
Historic St Andrews, one time known as ‘The summer resort for the rich and famous’, is a delightful 6-hour tour. Board your coach for a scenic 1.5 hour drive along the rugged shoreline of the Bay of Fundy coast to St. Andrew’s, a picturesque town where visitors come to breathe in the fresh sea air and settle in to a slower pace of life. While visiting this charming resort community, enjoy a private guided tour and lunch at the award winning Kingsbrae Garden, a magnificent 27 acre public horticultural garden, recently named in the Top Five North America Gardens Worth Travelling For at the 2011 International Garden Tourism Conference. Built on the grounds of several grand old estates, Kingbrae Garden has superb collection of over 50,000 perennials in many themed gardens. Other tour highlights include the famous Algonquin Hotel, Atlantic Canada’s premier seaside resort; the County Court House built in 1840 (this is the longest serving courthouse in Canada). Last but definitely not least, we’ve saved some time for shopping along Water Street where you’ll find many treasures, such as woolens, pottery, pewter, and glass in friendly and waterfront shops. St. Andrews was an important seaport in the early days of the Colony of New Brunswick, and, built in 1833, Pendlebury Lighthouse has lit the way for hundreds of vessels throughout history. Now, it’s the oldest remaining mainland lighthouse in New Brunswick. It gets its moniker from the name of the family that tended the light for almost 100 years. The unbeatable combination of seaside quaintness, natural beauty and Old World Charm make this a tour not to be missed.

Back Roads & Wine Tour:
This unique tour is truly off the beaten path. You will start off your day by visiting the world-famous Reversing Falls, where the huge tides from the Bay of Fundy force the mighty Saint John River to flow in reverse, twice every day. From here, it is straight into the heart of the region, the smaller rural communities surrounding Saint John.
See breathtaking scenery as you travel along the Kingston Peninsula, bordered by the St. John and Kennebecasis River. Pass through the center of farm country and learn about its importance as one of the main stays of New Brunswick's economy. Discover country villages such as Kingston, which was settled around 1783. The village square features a school, a general store built in 1788, and a church, designated as a National Historic site. You will have 60 minutes of free time here to browse or grab a quick bite of lunch on your own.
After lunch, visit Gillis winery! Located in a beautiful setting on the St. John River, this state-of-the-art winery specializes in handcrafted premium wines made with organically grown grapes. Visitors will enjoy a vineyard tour, private tastings and shopping in the contemporary wine boutique. Learn about the growing of the grapes and the winery's handcrafted methods that produce such exceptional flavor.
Then sit back and enjoy the scenic drive back towards Saint John. A stop will be made for approximately 40 minutes at the Barn in Bloomfield where you will have the opportunity to see craftsmanship from another era. In the historic barn, now a workshop and showroom, you are able to watch as craftsmen bring to life beautiful and functional wood products, including Shaker boxes. There is also a country store for unique handcrafts and snacks. Throughout the day, keep watch for covered bridges! They are rare today, but you will be passing by several of them on this journey.
Back in Saint John, you'll have an added bonus of checking out the change in the tides at Reversing Falls and a few other city highlights. The final stop on this tour will be the Old City Market. First opened in 1876, the Old City Market is the oldest continuing farmer's market in all of Canada.
